Taiwan - Taichung (Fengjia Night Market)

Day 2 Part 4 - (18 May 2012)

Our journey from Lavender Cottage to Fengjia Night Market took roughly about 1 hour and 50 minutes.
This trip was super tiring as we travel from one place to another which took at least few hours drive.
Fortunately, it was worth it :)


That night we had our dinner in this Steamboat restaurant which I can't recall the name.
It is located in the night market itself.
Dinner was covered for that day.
So no price will be mentioned as I have no freaking idea how much does it cost anyway.

Mark and I ate for 30 minutes only because we wouldn't want to waste our time eating (although it was a buffet steamboat where you can eat all you want). We wanted to try something else in the market.

Unfortunately it was raining cats and dogs after our dinner :(
SOBS!

Basically this market sells almost anything and everything.
You name it. Food, garments, shoes, electrical appliances and what else? Porno stuffs? Okay maybe not that.

Thanks to the heavy rain, my shoes were soaking wet.

Hence, I got a good reason of getting a new pair of shoes for myself.

And yes I bought one :D

The boy also wanted to get a new pair of shoes.

So we went to shop in Nike.

Their designs are way better than those available in Melaka outlets.

Booo to Melaka Nike!!

After buying our shoes, we stepped out of the shop and then I noticed this thing.

WTF!!! BUY 1 FREE 1 nike shoes?

You gotta be kidding me bitch!!!

It cost roughly about RM170-200 a pair only. Which means if you buy one and get one free. It cost only about RM90-100 a pair only!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Somehow I did not buy any despite their good deals.
Need to control my shopping lust.


We didn't spend much time there as it was raining heavily. So, we went back to our hotel earlier.
Day 2 hotel was in Lichia Royal Garden Hotel.

PS:I didn't get to try their famous ice cream tower in Fengjia due to the stupid rain. *emo*

The hotel was quite amazing too.

We got the Grand Suite. I assume the price for the room a night was roughly about TWD 2240 up to 2590 since it was not during a holiday season.

Lichia Royal Garden Hotel

Visiting the Seven Eleven or Family Mart is like A MUST DO tradition when you're in Taiwan. Especially when you are a tourist there.

We bought snacks for us to indulge that night.
Fat to the max!
