Cambodia - Siam Reap (Angkor Wat / Art Center Night Market)

When we talk about Cambodia, the first thing that appears in our mind would be the famous Angkor Wat.

It was popularized by the movie acted by Angelina Jolie in Lara Croft : Tomb Raider which was actually adapted from the Tomb Raider video game series.

Angkor Wat was listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

We started off by having breakfast in our Hotel.

Once we're done, it was time for some adventure!

The overview picture of the entire Angkor Wat.
Photo credits to the owner of the picture (took it from google image)

Got myself a size S shirt the night before since the tour guide told me that we can't wear sleeveless top. Although the size was small but it was super large for me.
The top was only 2USD! Mad cheap.

Photo credits to google again. Such a lovely view!

I personally love this picture a lot!

There are a number of Khmer photographers who provide photography services with their own personal DSLR. Each piece cost only 1USD (4R size) and they will develop the picture within 5 to 10 minutes.
It is a very good service indeed.

The amount of tourist were crazy. It was quite difficult to take a proper picture.
Most of our pictures we filled with spoilers.

If you plan to take some personal photos such as wedding photographs or for modelling purposes, i suggest you visit the isolated temples where lesser people would visit.

Do not go to the hot spots. Damn packed with humans.

We had to queue bloody long just to take a picture here.
One of the hot spots they say.

The China tourists were so bloody rude! Dah lah tak beratur... terus potong line nak ambil gambar.
Cish!! Pastu ambil banyak shots lak tu. Bikin panas jak.

Attempting to be like the Apsara dancers.

Apsara is a female spirit of the clouds and waters in Hindu and Buddha mythology.
Apsara is a also a dancer who entertains the God and Men.

There are many Apsara carvings around Angkor Wat's architecture/buildings.

These are the Apsara dancers.

We were drenched in sweat after all those hours of walking.
Despite the nice weather, it was supper hot okay! I even had two shades/tones of color on my hands and feet TT______TT

Had our late buffet lunch at Tonle Sap Restaurant.

After some rest and a cool shower, we resume our journey by exploring the shops around our hotel area.

Spending our last stay to the very end.
Buffet dinner at Tonle Chakto Muk Restaurant.
Mad love their mini ice cream. *slurps*

 The entrance of the Restaurant.

We made our last stop at the Siam Reap Art Center Night Market to spend all of our remaining cash.
This place reminds me of Ao Nang in Krabi, Thailand.

It resembles quite similar to it.

You can find everything here. The rule of thumb is - bargaining!

We managed to haggle this masterpiece from 100USD to 30USD.

It's all about skills baby ;)
Amirul sucks in bargaining. He wanted to get it when the girl sold it it for 60USD.
But thanks to us, we managed to main tarik tali with them and they surrendered to us in the end.

That's the end of short yet memorable adventure in Cambodia.

Until then.
Anticipating for my future destination (God knows when and where)
